Early Book Purchase Program (EBPP)

Before the semester starts, you can purchase books up to 10 days in advance using your financial aid.

EBPP Process

PCC allows financial aid recipients to buy books before their funds are disbursed. You can access books at any PCC Bookstore 10 days before your first class. For example, if your first class starts on October 21, the earliest you can participate is October 11.

After enrolling, the Office of Financial Aid will confirm your eligibility for the EBPP. If you qualify, you’ll be notified when you can visit the bookstore.

Authorization

At the bookstore, you authorize excess funds to cover your purchases.

Eligibility

  • You must authorize PCC to apply your financial aid toward outstanding charges from the EBPP. Your purchase limit will be the lowest of the following:
    • The amount charged to your student account
    • $750 or
    • $75 per credit hour
  • Changes in financial aid eligibility, such as enrollment or residency changes, may affect your EBPP eligibility.

If you are only eligible for student loans and are a first-time borrower, be aware that your loan disbursement may face a 30-day delay, impacting your eligibility for the program.
