TRiO SSS STEM
The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) STEM program is a federally funded program through the Department of Education dedicated to serving up to 120 eligible students pursuing a major in:
- Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or
- Health professions (nursing, pharmacy, pre-med, physician assistant, etc.)
Eligibility Requirements
- U. S. Citizen or Permanent Resident AND one or more of the following
- First-generation (parent/guardian did not attend college and complete a baccalaureate degree), and/or
- Low-income, or
- Have a documented disability with PCC ADR office
SSS STEM Program Services:
- Personalized academic and transfer advising
- Academic tutoring
- Financial aid and scholarship assistance/workshops
- Academic, professional and personal workshops
- University and educational tours
- Laptop and graphing calculator rentals
- Free color printing
