Launch Your Business with STRIVE
Ready to turn your business idea into reality? The STRIVE program provides you with essential business skills and support to confidently launch and grow your business—at no cost to you.
In partnership with Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), STRIVE offers:
- Hands-on entrepreneurship training
- Expert mentorship
- A nationwide support network
- An in-person cohort model that fosters learning and collaboration with peers
Throughout the program, you will develop the skills to launch a successful business and access ongoing support, including potential funding opportunities.
STRIVE welcomes:
- Honorably discharged veterans, active duty service members (within one year of discharge), and current or former members of the National Guard or Reserves
- Military dependents (spouses and first-generation children)
- Non-military business owners (if 50% or more of the business is veteran-owned)
- Graduates of other IVMF programs
Program Details
This multi-week program includes:
- Engaging weekly evening sessions
- Required online coursework before and during the program

- Phase 3 – Ongoing Support and Mentoring
