Studying English

Do you want to advance your English speaking and writing skills? Are you interested in earning a degree or certificate from Pima Community College, but would like to improve your English skills first?

You need to take the Accuplacer ESL placement test on campus at a testing center before you start taking English as a Second Language (ESL) courses with Pima. This test provides basic guidance for initial placement. ESL instructors will reassess students during the first week of each class to determine correct placement. Please understand that your initial placement may be adjusted to ensure your success and optimal progress toward your educational goals.
