Spring 2025 Registration Program

Spring into Action and Win One of Ten Amazing Rewards!

Spring semester is just around the corner, and we’re making registration even more exciting! When you register for your Spring classes, you’ll automatically be entered for a chance to win one of ten amazing rewards, including five $300 scholarships and five brand-new laptops. Whether you’re planning on tackling that next course or finishing up your degree, now’s your chance to keep progressing toward your goals—with a little extra help from Pima along the way.

Register for at least six credits for the Spring 2025 term to be automatically entered to win.

Eligibility Criteria

A student must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for the tuition certificate or laptop (incentive rewards):

  1. Be enrolled for at least six (6) credits for the Spring 2025 term at the time of the incentive reward drawing,
  2. Be enrolled in the Spring 2025 term in any of the following:
    • 16-Week Traditional Semester;
    • 1st 8-Week Session;
    • 2nd 8-Week Session;
    • 1st 5-Week Session;
    • 2nd 5-Week Session;
    • 14-Week Session;
    • Full-Academic Year (Academic A/B)
  3. Registered between November 6, 2024 to January 15, 2025;
  4. To qualify for an incentive reward:
    • Students enrolled in 16-week, 1st 8-week, and 1st 5-week courses must maintain enrollment through the drop deadline for the 16-week traditional semester, January 30, 2025;
    • Students enrolled exclusively in 14-week, 2nd 5-week, and 2nd 8-week courses must maintain enrollment through the earliest drop deadline of their enrolled courses (see Spring 2025 Calendar);
    • Students enrolled in Full-Academic Year courses (Academic A/B) will have their drop deadline determined in coordination with the academic program;
  5. Be a certificate or degree seeking student.

Exclusions

The following registration types are excluded from participation in the Registration Incentive Reward Program:

  1. Non-degree Listings: Students listed as Undecided, Undeclared, Courses for Job Skills, Course for Personal Interest, and Courses for Transfer are excluded.
  2. Audit Registration: Audit registrations are excluded.
  3. Waitlist Registration: A student is not officially registered when waitlisted for a course. A waitlisted course does not guarantee registration in that course or count towards enrolled credit hours.
  4. Employer Tuition Assistance: The $300 tuition award is intended to assist with educational expenses. However, if a third-party program that exclusively covers tuition and fees such as employee or dependent tuition waiver or tuition assistance fully covers a student’s tuition, additional financial aid categorized as gift aid, including the tuition award, may no longer apply, as there will be no remaining balance.
  5. Employees: Any Pima Community College employee or the spouse, or dependent child of an employee of the district that qualifies for the College’s tuition waiver program are not eligible to participate in the program to avoid conflicts of interest.

Release of Liability

Pima Community College is not responsible or liable for the following:

  • Participants acknowledge and agree that Pima Community College, its employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives (collectively, the “College") shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense of any kind, whether direct or indirect, arising from or related to receiving an incentive reward.
  • All incentive rewards are provided "as is" without any guarantees, warranties, or representations of any kind, expressed or implied. The College disclaims any responsibility for defective, damaged, or malfunctioning incentive rewards and will not replace or repair such items.
  • Participants understand and agree that any and all taxes, fees, or other liabilities associated with receiving and accepting incentive rewards are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Incentive reward recipients may be required to complete tax forms, including but not limited to IRS Form 1099-MISC and Form 1098, as required by law.
