The VSSC focuses on the communication, customer service and organizational skills that are essential in any vet clinic or animal hospital. You’ll learn how to support pet owners with empathy and clarity, while building a strong foundation in veterinary language and clinic operations.

Whether you’re looking to start working right away or plan to continue into Pima’s Veterinary Technician AAS program, this certificate gives you a strong start and helps you stand out in the job market. The VSSC is a required first step toward enrolling in Pima’s Veterinary Technology AAS Degree.
