
College Readiness Learning Opportunities
Pima Community College offers a number of learning opportunities focused on digital literacy, math, reading, writing and college prep.
College Going Computer Skills
The college provides in person workshops for students to learn how to navigate a computer in preparation for college success. The half-day workshop provides opportunities to improve your digital literacy, experience the student information portal (MyPima), the online learning system (Brightspace D2L), the Google platform, and the student success network (PimaConnect).

Content Refreshers
Nervous about starting college in the fall? Studying to test into a specific program? Want to keep up your momentum from Spring? The Learning Center summer refreshers can help! Each eight day refresher takes place VIRTUALLY, and is held Monday-Thursday for two weeks. The college offers three different subject areas: Reading/Writing, Intermediate Math, and Advanced Math.

Summer College Prep
The college readiness team provides a 4-week hybrid (in person time and virtual time) learning experience specifically designed for new college students. Students will enroll in and complete the mandatory ST100 or STU107 (free of charge) during the session. The sessions will provide both informative speakers and opportunities to brush-up on your math skills. The college's success coaches and faculty will have you primed for success after completing the program.
