Frequently Asked Questions

Students: All students have access to Adobe Acrobat Studio (Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Express, Acrobat AI Assistant, and PDF Spaces). Students enrolled in certain digital arts classes will have access to Adobe Creative Cloud.

Faculty/Staff: All faculty and staff will have access to Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus.

  • Adobe Acrobat serves as an all-in-one digital document platform for managing, modifying, and transforming PDFs. It streamlines your productivity by allowing you to secure electronic signatures, facilitate real-time collaboration, and maintain document integrity across all your devices.
  • Adobe Express is a beginner-friendly, web-based tool for creating quick graphics, videos, and web pages using built-in templates. It’s the most recommended option for all users who need an easy way to design flyers, social media posts, or presentations without installing large desktop applications.
  • Adobe AI Assistant is a conversational tool integrated within the Adobe ecosystem, including Acrobat, Express, and Illustrator. It enables you to engage with your projects and documents using simple, natural language commands. This assistant streamlines your workflow by condensing lengthy files, creating new content, and providing cited insights. It also facilitates complex design adjustments across multiple steps, all while keeping your original file data intact.
  • Adobe PDF Spaces transforms traditional PDFs into AI workspaces where you can search, review, and interact with all your documents. When you add multiple documents, you can quickly get answers, summaries, and rewrites to move your projects along quickly. You can share an entire AI workspace with colleagues, instead of trudging through zip files or folder access, to achieve greater document efficiency
  • Visit adobe.com and click the Sign In button located at the top right of the navigation bar.
  • Enter your full PCC email address (e.g., username@pima.edu or username@mail.pima.edu), then select Continue.
  • When prompted to select an account type, select Company or School Account.
  • Complete the login process via the Pima Single Sign-on page using your username and password.
  • Adobe Express is available as an app for iOS and Android devices.
  • The other Acrobat Studio tools are web-based tools.
