Practical Nurse
Certificate
How Can We Help?
Division of Health Professions
In this program, you’ll gain comprehensive education in nursing, with both classroom learning and hands-on training that you can complete in less than two years as a full-time student. With a focus on providing quality care to ill, injured or recovering patients, you’ll build the skills to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN). Our curriculum is designed to prepare you for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN®), ensuring you’re fully equipped for success.
As an LPN, you’ll work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities and home health environments, where you’ll assist in patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. This certificate program is an ideal step for anyone looking to enter the healthcare field quickly, with the opportunity to advance your education and career by pursuing an associate degree.
