PCC Fire Academy Graduates 26 Recruits

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College’s Fire Academy will highlight the accomplishments of its latest recruit class with a live fire demonstration tonight at 6 at the City of Tucson Public Safety Academy, 10001 S. Wilmot Road.

When: Demonstration:  6 p.m., Dec. 16. (Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and arrive between 5 and 5:45 p.m.) Graduation:  6 p.m., Dec. 17

Where: Demonstration: City of Tucson Public Safety Academy, 10001 S. Wilmot Road. Graduation: Tucson Convention Center Leo Rich Theater, 260 S. Church Ave.

Ahmed Hourani, named the Superboot by his Fire Academy classmates, will address the graduating class of 2019-2 on Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. in the Leo Rich Theater at Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave. All 26 graduates obtained their Arizona Firefighter I & II state certifications.
