West Campus hosts the annual TEEM event on Feb. 28

Tucson Educational Empowerment for Minorities hosts annual African American Youth Heritage Day

Pima Community College welcomes Tucson Educational Empowerment for Minorities to the West Campus on Friday, Feb. 28, for its annual African American Youth Heritage Day.

The event will run from 9-11:45 a.m. and welcomes hundreds of pre-registered Pima County high school students.

Through workshops and activities, attendees learn about careers, actions that encourage and support college attendance, and alternative paths to success. This event is held annually during Black History Month.
