Aircraft Airframe Mechanics Certificate

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Aircraft Airframe Mechanics certificate program, the learner will be able to:

  1. Know common safety practices used when working on and around aircraft and related support equipment.
  2. Identify and use applicable maintenance publications and documents.
  3. Know and understand federal aviation regulations.
  4. Inspect, assemble and repair aircraft sheetmetal structures.
  5. Inspect, assemble and repair aircraft composite structures.
  6. Inspect, service, install and repair aircraft support systems.
  7. Inspect, service install and troubleshoot aircraft instruments and com/nav equipment.
