If you like working with your hands and seeing how things come together, Machine Tool Technology could be your perfect fit. Pima’s program gives you the skills to shape raw materials into precision parts found in nearly every product you see — from soda cans to airplane engines.

You’ll get a strong foundation in both manual and computer numerical control (CNC) machining, as well as inspection techniques and metallurgy. The program blends theory with hands-on training using the same machines found in real-world shops. You’ll complete manufacturing projects, learn to read technical drawings, and build skills in areas like math, drafting, quality assurance and computer-aided machining. Whether you’re heading straight into the workforce or planning to advance your training, you’ll graduate with the tools to make things that matter.

Completing our program prepares you for a career as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator, Machining Inspection & Quality Assurance Technician & more
