In just two semesters of full-time coursework – mostly online – you can be ready to work as a Pharmacy Technician. As part of Pima’s Pharmacy Technology program you’ll do hands-on clinical work that can lead to a job upon graduation.

Complete Pima’s program and you’ll be ready to work as a Pharmacy Technician, making sure that patients receive their medication promptly and accurately. Pharmacy Technicians work in pharmacy settings such as:

  • Retail pharmacies
  • hospitals
  • ambulatory healthcare settings

Upon completing Pima’s program, you will be eligible to sit for the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam®.

Degrees & Certificates

At Pima, our programs are designed to help you build your skills as you go. Start with foundational certificates and advance to higher-level certificates and a two-year degree, all while gaining the hands-on experience needed for in-demand careers.

By doing coursework that includes hands-on laboratory training and experience, including interning, you’ll learn to work as a pharmacy technician assisting a pharmacist.
