Program Admission Requirements
You're ready to enroll in the program once you meet the requirements listed below:
- Placement into WRT090 /101S or completion of ACL 080 with a “C” or better
- Placement into REA 091 or completion of ACL 080 with a “C” or better
- Placement into MAT ICS 081 or higher
- Present evidence of the First Aid/CPR certification from a recognized training provider
Applying for Program Admission
- Program requirements must be completed with grades and/or assessment scores posted on PCC transcripts before applying to the program.
- Once requirements are complete, students can complete the Medical Assisting Program Application.
- Completed applications are submitted electronically in one fluid PDF via PCC student email to pcc-mdaadmissions@pima.edu
- Program information is communicated using the PCC student email. It is imperative to check your PCC student email address periodically.
- Students not selected for admission are encouraged to re-apply for the following application cycle.
