Digital Film Arts & Animation AAS

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Digital Film Arts & Animation AAS degree, Digital Film Arts Concentration, the learner will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate industry professional standards within their attitudes, conduct, ethics, and work. (includes attendance, deadlines, copyright issues, group environment relationships)
  2. Differentiate between the various technologies/media appropriate for project completion.
  3. Create effective visual communication using the elements of story.
  4. Access industry related learning resources.
  5. Apply film/video working protocol, set etiquette, and safety.
  6. Contribute to the completion of a project, function as a crucial team member of a crew, and understand the roles of other crew members.
  7. Demonstrate knowledge of various motion picture film, video and audio production equipment, hardware, and software involved in pre-production, production and post-production.

Upon successful completion of the Digital Film Arts & Animation AAS degree, Digital Film Arts Animation Concentration, the learner will also be able to:

  1. Demonstrate industry professional standards within their attitudes, conduct, ethics, and work. (includes attendance, deadlines, copyright issues, group environment relationships)
  2. Differentiate between the various technologies/media appropriate for project completion.
  3. Create effective visual communication using the elements of story.
  4. Access industry related learning resources.
  5. Demonstrate entry-level workplace computer competencies using industry standard 2D and 3D animation software.
  6. Produce a finished digital/interactive portfolio visually demonstrating, animation, storytelling, and technical skills
