Outcomes

Digital Arts AAS

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Digital Arts AAS degree program, the learner will be able to:

  1. The student will demonstrate industry professional standards within their attitudes, conduct, ethics, and work (includes attendance, deadlines, copyright issues, group environment relationships).
  2.  Student will differentiate between the various technologies/media appropriate for project completion.
  3.  Student will create effective visual communication through the application of design theories and principles to execute design solutions.
  4.  Student will access industry related learning resources.

Upon successful completion of the Design Concentration(DARD), the learner will also be able to:

  1.  Student will demonstrate entry-level workplace computer competencies using industry standard print design and production software.
  2.  Student will produce a finished digital or printed portfolio visually demonstrating, design, typography and technical skills.

Upon successful completion of the Illustration Concentration (DARI), the learner will also be able to:

  1.  Student will demonstrate entry-level workplace computer competencies using industry standard print design, illustration, and production software.
  2.  Student will produce a finished digital or printed portfolio visually demonstrating, design, illustration and technical skills.

Upon successful completion of the Multimedia Concentration (DARM), the learner will also be able to:

  1.  Student will demonstrate entry-level workplace computer competencies using industry standard interactive design, animation graphics, video editing, and production software.
  2. Student will produce a finished digital /interactive portfolio visually demonstrating, interactive design, animation graphics, video editing, and technical skills.

Upon successful completion of the Web Design Concentration (DARW), the learner will also be able to:

  1. Student will demonstrate entry-level workplace computer competencies using industry standard interactive/web design and production software and coding languages.
  2. Student will produce a finished digital /interactive portfolio visually demonstrating, design, typography, interactive, and technical skills.
