As an International student, you have to meet certain requirements in order to study at Pima as a full-time F-1 student. Follow these steps and we'll get you on your way to a rewarding academic experience.
Step1
Apply
Fill out and sign an Application for Admission for International Students.
Application deadlines:
Fall Semester - June 1
Spring Semester - October 1
Summer Semester - April 1
Step2
Pay Application Fee
Send $25 as a non-refundable application fee. We accept
- money order
- check
- credit card with authorization form.
Step3
Provide Proof of Financial Support
Fill out the Affidavit of Financial Support. The affidavit must be verified with a bank seal or submitted with an official bank statement.
In the Affidavit of Support, the student must show that the student or a sponsor has the available funds for one entire academic year.
Step4
Submit TOEFL Score
Have an official TOEFL score - minimum 61 ibt/173 cbt/500 pbt - sent to Pima. The Pima Community College school code is 4623 - Dept. 00.
The TOEFL test is not required for the study of English as a Second Language (ESL).
Step5
Provide Transcripts
Send official secondary school (American high school equivalent) records and transcripts, properly translated into English by an International Credentials Evaluator.
Step6
Provide Copy of Passport
Provide a copy of your current passport.
Step7
Mail or Fax Materials
