The clinic is available to the entire community - PCC students, faculty and staff, as well as to the general public.

Staffed by a physician assistant, East Side Health Center services provide

  • primary care and preventative health services, such as immunizations.
  • laboratory testing, including pregnancy testing and rapid testing for flu and strep infections.
  • prenatal care referrals to the MHC Department of Obstetrical Services, which is located on the campus of Northwest Medical Center.

The East Side Health Center accepts most major insurance policies and participates in a simplified application process for AHCCCS, Arizona’s administrator of the federal Medicaid program. In addition, the Center's outreach staff screens uninsured patients for enrollment in various options.

MHC Healthcare is Arizona’s oldest community health center and is a multi-service provider through a network of clinics throughout rural and metro Pima County.
