Emergency Medical Technology
Learn pre-hospital emergency medical care, including physical assessment, medical techniques and ambulance operations. This program is approved by the Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services toward certification as an EMT in the State of Arizona.
Note: This certificate program does not qualify for Title IV Federal Financial Aid.

What can I do with this degree?
Career Options: Take required Arizona and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians exams to qualify for work as an emergency medical technician.
Academic Options: Once you receive EMT certification and work as an emergency medical technician, continue your studies by taking classes toward an Associate of Applied Science in EMT - Paramedic.
Program Requirements 2017-2018
A grade of C or better is required for graduation.
