Upon successful completion of the Medical Assistant Certificate program, the learner will be able to:
Competently perform administrative responsibilities in an outpatient healthcare environment.
Demonstrate proficiency with oral and written communication with patients and staff.
Correctly assess and document a patient’s physical and mental health status based on subjective and objective information to assure accuracy in diagnosis and treatment.
- Complete and document procedures and point of care testing to differentiate between health and pathology.
