Program Outcomes - Health Information Technology Certificate

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Health Information Technology certificate program, the learn will be able to:

  1. Apply effective communication skills (verbal and written) using electronic media and computer technology.
  2. Analyze information and demonstrate comprehension.
  3. Apply and integrate the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rules and Security with health information management, ethics and procedures.
  4. Apply knowledge of technology.
