Translation and Interpretation Studies
Improve your skills in Spanish-English and English-Spanish written translation in the health care, legal, literary and business fields. Courses include both hands-on and theoretical classes, as well as internship opportunities.
Before you can enroll, in addition to the program prerequisites listed below you must demonstrate 50% competency translating a document without aid.

Before enrolling in this program (TRS 102 or higher) you must fulfill the following requirements with a C or better:

or WRT 107 Writing I for Non-Native Speakers of English
|WRT 102 Writing II [SUN# ENG 1102]
or WRT 108 Writing II for Non-Native Speakers of English
|SPA 253 Intermediate Spanish for Heritage and Bilingual Learners OR pass a proficiency test; complete the SPA 103 and 203 prerequisites as needed||0-12|
|SPA 254 Intermediate Grammar and Writing for Heritage and Bilingual Learners OR pass a proficiency test||0-3|
