PCC Fashion Design Students’ Spring Fashion Show, May 2

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College’s Fashion Design students will host the 7th Annual Spring Fashion Show on May 2.

Enjoy a “night at the cinema,” as you’re taken through multiple genres -- romance, comedy, thriller, action and science fiction.

The fashion show will showcase the work of PCC’s Fashion Design students with special guests from Flowing Wells High School fashion design program.   

Also, as part of this event, students from Pima Community College West Campus “Adopt-A-School” partner, Oyama Elementary School, are invited to learn about the field of fashion design, tour the Fashion Design Lab and participate in variety of hands-on fashion design projects.

Several students from Oyama Elementary will participate in this event on April 28.  They also are encouraged to attend the fashion show wearing the items they created in the Fashion Design Lab.

 “This will be such a great learning experience for the Oyama Elementary students,” said Yekatherina Bruner, PCC Fashion Design instructor.  “They also will get an opportunity to see the student’s inspiring and creative designs as they are modeled down the runway.”

 “The audience can count on seeing some great fashions on the runway,” Bruner said.
