PCC Site of Jan. 23 Forum on Sex Trafficking Impact

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College is honored to be the site of a Jan. 23 forum on community responses to sex trafficking.

“Steps to Address Sex Trafficking: Trauma and Addiction” is presented by CODAC Behavioral Health Services, the City of Tucson Ward 6 and the Center for Community Dialogue. Primarily for health and human service providers, law enforcement officials and educators, it will feature presentations by experts in social work and other areas, along with a facilitator-led dialog on how sex trafficking affects the community. KOLD TV journalist Heather Rowe will be the emcee.

The speakers include:

  • Beth Jacobs, BSW, a survivor of sex trafficking and founder of Willow Way, a non-profit agency that helps other survivors of sex trafficking
  • Molly Kent, LPC,  a CODAC therapist experienced in working with vulnerable populations
  • Dominque Roe-Sepowitz, MSW, Ph.D, an Arizona State University associate professor of social work who has extensive clinical experience working with sexually abused children and adults
