Welcome to Summer Semester 2018

Student feedback told us most students were happy with the changes we made last year to Summer Semester scheduling.

We’ve continued refining our summer offerings, in order to make it easier for students to take all their summer courses on one campus.  By consolidating classes on fewer campuses instead of spreading them across five, students should have more options to fill their schedules, plus courses are more likely to fill and not be canceled.

We hope we’ll see you this summer!

Overview of services

  • General Education classes will be held at West Campus, with additional science classes at the Northwest Campus.
  • Stand-alone programs with specific facility needs will function at their normal campuses. As examples, Desert Vista will continue to offer Culinary and Center for Training and Development programming; East Campus will continue to offer EMT classes; and Downtown Campus will continue to offer Automotive and Machine Tool classes.  Community Campus’ online, workforce, and Adult Basic Ed programs will also continue operations without change.
  • Math Bridge, IBEST, and Adult Basic Education (GED) classes will be available on campuses as previously scheduled.
  • Transportation:  Summer students with qualifying transportation challenges are eligible to receive SunTran passes.  Contact a Campus President's office in advance for details.
