Ease through registration by attending a group advising session, career exploration workshop and, if needed, an academic probation and academic restriction workshop.
A series of workshops, supported by College advisors and counselors, have been scheduled to help you get the answers you need.
Program Advising Group Sessions allow you to connect with your Program Advisor, meet other students in your major and learn how to navigate the Pima student systems. Register for the session that best fits your needs.
Career Exploration Workshops are the first step in career and academic counseling. This interactive workshop will take you through career assessments based on your personality type, personal interests, skills and abilities, and help you narrow career choices. You can continue the counseling process to select a program of study and classes that fit your goal. Register for the next Career Workshop session.
Academic Probation and Academic Restriction Workshops will guide you through the necessary steps for improving your academic status and allowing you to register. The workshops are required for anyone on Academic Probation or Academic Restriction.
Academic Probation means a student has remained below a cumulative 2.0 GPA and 67% completion rate for a second semester following Academic Warning.
Academic Restriction means that following a semester of Academic Probation, a student continues to maintain under a 2.0 GPA for the most recent semester completed.
At the workshop, you will address academic and career goals, as well as challenges and barriers that are affecting your success, and you will receive interventions and resources to help get back into Good Academic Standing. Register for the next Academic Probation and Academic Restriction Workshop.
