Women’s Soccer

Aztec soccer continues to be a powerhouse in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference, (ACCAC). Since the team began competing in the ACCAC, (1996) there have been many championship celebrations.

The Aztecs came out on top in the ACCAC their first year, and won the conference championship again in 2002. In 1997 Pima won a berth to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament and in 2007 the team returned to the national stage where they placed third in the tournament.

In 2014, the Aztecs went undefeated (11-0-1) at the Kino North Grandstand and won the Region I Championship. They finished 11th at the NJCAA National Tournament in Melbourne, FL and awarded the Sportsmanship Award for the tournament. They finished ranked #7 in the final NJCAA National poll.
