Adult Education/High School Equivalency (HSE)
Adult Education provides adult learners with opportunities to increase basic skills in math, reading and writing, prepare for HSE testing, take the GED® test, learn English, increase their civic engagement and develop the skills to transition to further education and jobs.
Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency (HSE) Preparation
Classes are for students 16 years and older who are functioning below the high school level. Emphasis is on Reading, Mathematics, Writing and HSE preparation. Classes are offered at convenient locations throughout Tucson.
English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA)
Classes are for adults who need to learn English, beginning through advanced levels in Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. ELAA classes are offered at convenient locations throughout Tucson.
High School Equivalency (HSE) Testing
Pima Community College offers the GED® test for an HSE diploma with day, evening and weekend options available.
