Veterinary Practice Assistant


This program is currently inactivated and is in teachout. Teachout for this program will begin Spring 2022 and will conclude at the end of the Spring 2023 term.

If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact Program Director Dr. Karla Lombana at Interested students are encouraged to pursue VET 100 as an introductory course as the certificate is no longer available.

For students currently in the program, the requirements are listed below.

Learn management and communication skills for a veterinary practice, standard office procedures, medical terminology, surgical assistance, and other basic animal care assisting skills.
