
Surgical Technologist
Career Training Certificate
Train to become an integral part of the surgical team! Surgical Technologists prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, and help doctors during surgeries.
Students who complete this training are well-prepared to take the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certified Surgical Technologist examination.
Program admission is twice a year with classes starting in March and September. The training includes an internship.

Academic Options
After three to five years of experience and more formal training, become eligible to be a certified surgical first assistant, working for a surgeon who has selected you and doing many of the surgical procedures.
