Ranger Challenge
This course is MLS 198 T2, which replaces the standard physical training course with a more intense, team-oriented experience. The daily training aims to create a smoothly operating squad. Individuals develop physical strength and stamina. Additional training develops marksmanship, patrolling and rope skills and endurance. It ends in a grueling four-day team competition at Ft. Hunter-Liggett in California where teams compete for the Ranger Challeng title. The class meets Monday-Friday, 5:30-7 a.m., at the University of Arizona. It is held every fall semester and may be repeated. Sergeant First Class (P) Bryon D. Bulter coaches the class. - Career infantry NCO for 22 years
