Chancellor's Recognition Scholarship
The Chancellor’s Recognition Scholarship is awarded to well-rounded, graduating Pima County high school students who have shown academic competency and made contributions in several aspects of academic and civic life. The scholarship provides one full year of full-time enrollment at Pima Community College. The broad evaluation criteria have been developed to allow consideration of non-traditional achievements such as evidence of overcoming obstacles and persisting to achieve an objective, ability to engage and motivate others, and/or strong commitment to community development.Eligibility for Chancellor’s Recognition Scholarship - minimum high school GPA of 2.75
- documentation of in school or community activities
- letter of recommendation from a high school counselor or teacher that addresses the student’s potential for college success and leadership.
How to ApplyComplete the application form and provide the required support documents. Application packets for the 2008/2009 academic year are due March 14, 2008.
