Program Requirements

HON 101: Honors Colloquium is required to enter the Honors Program. This course brings new honors students together, enhancing research, reflection, writing and discussion skills. The Colloquium is offered during the Fall and Spring semesters.

To complete the Honors Certificate, you may choose from a variety of honors courses. You also can receive honors credit for non-honors courses by signing an Honors Contract and completing extra work.

You may take honors courses, which are identified by the letters HC in the course number (i.e. WRT 101HC), without officially being admitted into the Honors Program, as long as you have a 3.5 GPA or higher.
