Express Degree FAQ

Who can enroll?

Express Degree courses are open to everyone. Even students who are not interested in completing a degree can still take Express Degree courses that interest them.

How much is tuition? Is financial aid available?

Tuition for the Express Degree Program is the same as for traditional classes. Financial aid is available for students who qualify.

Will Express Degree courses transfer?

The Express Degree transfers to The University of Arizona, Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University, as well as to many other universities. For more information contact any campus advising and counseling center.

The Express Degree also meets the requirements for the Arizona General Educational Curriculum (AGEC) Certificate. The certificate fulfills the lower-division general education requirements for The University of Arizona, Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University.

What are the advantages of enrolling in Express Degree courses?

By taking classes once a week you can work full time and still earn a degree or complete courses that interest you. Because of the condensed class length you complete most classes in just five to six weeks.

What are the challenges of taking Express Degree course?

Time management is the biggest challenge for students taking Express Degree courses. Homework is more intensive than in traditional classes, and because the duration of class time is shortened, you can't afford to miss classes or get behind in assigned work.
