Associate of Arts - Transfer Information

This degree is designed to prepare students to transfer to 4-year universities in a wide variety of majors.  Students should meet with a Pima advisor to plan their program of study.

Students who wish to transfer to an Arizona university and pursue most Bachelor of Arts degrees should complete this degree.  Below is a sample list of B.A. majors.  Refer to the university requirements for core or elective courses and language requirements.

  • Biology (for ASU and NAU; for the UA complete the Associate of Science degree)

  • Education: Secondary of Special Education/Rehabilitation

Students, especially those transferring to the University of Arizona, are encouraged to enroll in STU 210, Transfer Strategies, to plan for the transfer process and success at the university.
