PCC to host a community forum on gun laws, racial profiling and criminal justice

November 10, 2013

Pima Community College will, again, host “Project Hoodie” a community forum on gun laws, racial profiling and criminal justice next week at its Downtown Campus.

The panel discussion, “Trayvon Martin:  Do We Look Suspicious?” is co-sponsored by PCC, the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the Center for Community Dialogue.

PCC hosted “Project Hoodie: A Tucson Conversation on Race” last year following the shooting of Trayvon Martin in Florida.

The community is invited to attend.  This is a great opportunity to participate in a constructive discussion about issues raised by the shooting of Trayvon Martin.

Where: PCC Downtown Campus
Amethyst Room
1255 N. Stone Ave
