Veterans Day events planned

Veterans Day is Monday, and Pima Community College is holding several events to honor the Americans who put themselves on the line to keep us free:

East Campus, 8181 E. Irvington Road: free pancake breakfast, 7:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 for veterans and active-duty members of the military.

Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave.: Veterans Day celebration on Friday, Nov. 8 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The free event will include speakers, entertainment, food and recognition of local businesses that support veterans. Event is in parking area in front of library building.

Northwest Campus, 7600 N. Shannon Road: free pancake breakfast for all active and retired military from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Also, an Honor Wall, composed of photos of veterans, will be on display at the Student Life Center, D-201, from Nov. 10-15.

West Campus, 2202 W. Anklam Road: free brunch for veterans and active-duty military, Nov. 13, 9:30-11 a.m., A-G20.
