The Pima Community College women’s basketball team will host a NJCAA Region I, Division II playoff game at the West Campus’ Aztec Gym on Tuesday when the No. 2 seeded Aztecs play against No. 3 seed South Mountain Community College. The game will be at 7:30 p.m. and the winner will advance to the finals of the Region I, Division II tournament.
The spring sports at Pima Community College continue regular season competition. The men’s golf team will play two tournaments this week while the women’s golf team plays its tournament at the end of the week. The softball team will be on the road for two doubleheaders while the baseball team will be on the road and at the West Campus to close out the week. The men’s tennis team will play at the West Campus while the women’s team travels.
The men’s golf team will kick off the week playing on Monday and Tuesday at the Sun City Golf Course in Sun City. The Aztecs will tee off around noon on both days.
The men’s tennis team will host Mesa Community College at the West Campus on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. The women’s tennis team will travel to Mesa Community College. Its match will start at 1:30 p.m. as well. The baseball team will play a doubleheader on Tuesday at Central Arizona College in Coolidge. The first game will start at noon. The softball team will be on the road and will play at Arizona Western College in Yuma. The first game of its doubleheader will also start at noon.
The track & field teams will begin Outdoor competition as they will host the Aztec Outdoor Invitational on Saturday at the West Campus. Competition will begin at 11 a.m. The baseball team will also be in action at the West Campus on Saturday when it hosts Yavapai College. The first game of the doubleheader will start at noon. The softball team will play at GateWay Community College in Phoenix on Saturday in a doubleheader. The first game will start at noon.
The men’s and women’s golf teams will play at Dobson Ranch Golf Course in Mesa on Saturday and Sunday. The men will tee off on Saturday at 8 a.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. The women’s team will tee off on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.
