PCC to extend search for new chancellor
February 6, 2013
Pima Community College’s Governing Board has hired a new firm to assist it in the search for a new chancellor.
At a Special Meeting Feb. 5 at Community Campus, the Board voted unanimously to hire the Association of Community College Trustees as executive search consultant. The Board also voted to end its contract with R.H. Perry & Associates, which the Board had hired last year to aid in the chancellor search.
At the Special Meeting, Board Chair Dr. Brenda Even said the Board is “marching forward” toward its goal of having a new chancellor on the job in July.
More information on the search, including an email link to comment to the Board about the search, is available on the Chancellor Search webpage.
