PCC Fall Sports Sept. 3 – Sept. 9

PCC continues its regular season competition as the soccer and volleyball teams play out of town this week while the football team plays its second consecutive home game. The baseball team will also begin its fall scrimmage schedule. 

The volleyball team continues to play on the road as it goes to Glendale Community College on Wednesday. The match starts at 7 p.m.

Then the volleyball team travels to Scottsdale on Friday to take part in the Scottsdale Classic Tournament. The Aztecs will play three matches with the first being at 8:30 a.m. against the College of Eastern Utah. Then the Aztecs are back on the court at 1 p.m. against Yavapai College and they’ll finish with Mesa Community College at 4 p.m.

The soccer teams will be at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex in Phoenix on Saturday to play GateWay Community College. The men kick off the action at 4:30 p.m. and the women’s team will follow at 7 p.m.

The volleyball team will play two more matches on Saturday as part of the Scottsdale Classic Tournament. Its first match is against Central Wyoming College at 11 a.m. Then the Aztecs play Scottsdale Community College at 12:30 p.m.

The baseball team begins its fall scrimmage schedule as it goes to Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher. The game will be at 11 a.m.

The football team will host the Air Force Academy JV team at Kino Stadium on Sunday at 6 p.m.
