Second Market On the Move is May 5 at Desert Vista Campus

PCC's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and The 3000 Club are teaming up to again help residents to eat more fresh produce, share with their communities and support academic excellence.

On Saturday, May 5, 2012, PCC's Desert Vista Campus is hosting another Market On the Move. From 8 a.m. to noon, people can show up in Desert Vista's North Parking Lot, pay $10 and receive up to 60 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables. Those buying the produce are encouraged to use what they need and share with friends and neighbors.

Ten percent of the proceeds, or $1 of every $10, taken in Saturday will go to the society.
