Talk to artist Tuesday morning while he paints new Sculpture-On-Campus work

Artist Jason Butler invites students, faculty and staff to chat with him anytime between 8:30 a.m. and noon, Tuesday, April 24 as he paints his sculpture “Donald Judd, The Cubes Alone Were Never Enough!” that was installed on Friday morning, April 20, at PCC’s East Campus, 8181 E. Irvington Road. Butler is one of seven artists chosen for the fourth installation in the PCC Sculpture-On-Campus project, based at East Campus.

Butler is one of three PCC art faculty members selected to have a 2012 Sculpture-On-Campus installation. The other two are full-time faculty members Joe Dal Pra and Barbara Jo McLaughlin. Butler is a PCC adjunct faculty member. Other 2012 Sculpture-On-Campus artists are Breiten Bucher, Kevin Caron, Elizabeth Frank, Don Taylor and Joan Waters.

An opening reception for the 2012 installations is planned for October.
