Japanese Speech Contest marks 10th anniversary, back at East Campus

The Tucson Japanese Speech Contest, featuring exhibits, performances and student speech competitions from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, returns to East Campus, where the first event was held in 2003.
To mark the anniversary, Consul Deputy Director Kumiko Nakamura of the Consulate-General of Japan in Los Angeles, will attend the contest to make opening remarks.
The event is free and open to the public. It is organized by PCC East Campus Student Life and the Tucson Japanese Speech Contest Committee of the Southern Arizona Association for Japanese Education. View the complete schedule of events.
