Aviation Technology Program honors certificate completers on March 2

Nearly two dozen Aviation Technology Program students will receive their certificates of completion during a public ceremony for friends and family on Friday evening.

Chris Heredia, Director of Product Marketing for Meggitt PLC, is the guest speaker. The United Kingdom-based Meggitt is a global engineering group specializing in extreme environment components and smart sub-systems for aerospace, defense and energy markets. In Tucson, Meggitt's Megitt Equipment Group operates Securaplane, USA.
The College offers certificate and degree opportunities in Airframe and Powerplant, Avionics, and Structural Repair concentrations. Most Aviation Technology Program students combine at least two concentrations. Students develop their skills on a variety of aircraft models, from single-engine Piper and Cessna airplanes to Boeing 727 jets.
The Aviation Technology Program runs co-hort classes year-round, with students completing in March and August each year.
