Two Upcoming Events to Focus on Veterans’ Issues

Thursday, Feb. 9, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Robert Chubb and Art Burrola visit the Veterans’ Center at Downtown Campus, LB176, to discuss veterans’ issues and services and answer your questions. Chubb is a workforce development specialist with the Homeless Veteran’s Reintegration Program of the Sullivan Jackson Employment Center. Burrola is a Veterans Workforce Investment Program coordinator with the Pima County ONESTOP Career Center.

Tuesday, Feb. 14, noon- 1 p.m.

Erik Shumaker, M.A., a psychology intern with the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, will meet with veterans in the Downtown Campus Veterans Center, LB176, to discuss “Mental Health Awareness & Assistance for Veterans.”  Come meet with other veterans, get your questions answered, and stick around for food and beverages after the briefing.
