Information Session Sept. 26 in English, Spanish on Attending PCC, UA

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College and The University of Arizona will be hosting information sessions to educate students and parents about the admissions, registration, and financial aid process in attending either institution.

The first session is Thursday, September 26 at 6 p.m. at El Pueblo Neighborhood Center, 101 W. Irvington Road.

Future sessions are scheduled this year. UA and PCC hope to encourage more students to think about higher education and apply for admission.

“Both UA and Pima offer outstanding programs that will lead to wonderful careers and we want students and families to learn about this first-hand from our experts who will be on hand to meet with participants. UA and Pima working together sends a powerful message to the community as well. Students who start at Pima and then transfer to The UA are very successful and the possibilities are endless,” said Kasey Urquidez, UA’s Associate Vice President, Student Affairs & Enrollment Management and Dean, Undergraduate Admissions.

The sessions will be presented in Spanish and English.
