PCC Site of Community Forum on Sex Trafficking, June 13

 Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College is honored to be the site of a community forum discussing an important topic: sex trafficking.

  • What: Community forum, “Sex Trafficking in Our Homes, Schools and Community”
  • When: Thursday, June 13, 6-8 p.m.
  • Where: Amethyst Room, PCC Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave.
  • Information: Tucson City Council Ward Six, 791-4601.

The forum, hosted by Our Family Services’ Center for Community Dialogue, will include a frank and honest discussion of the vulnerabilities that children face, warning signs parents need to be aware of, and advice on prevention.

Presenters include a survivor of sex trafficking, along with experts in the study of the topic. Journalist Heather Rowe of TV station KOLD will facilitate the discussion, which at times will be explicit.
