PCC Students ‘Seuss-a-brate’ at Grijalva Elementary on March 2

Tucson, AZ – Members of the Native American Students Association at Pima Community College’s Desert Vista Campus will read to students at Grijalva Elementary School tomorrow morning, March 2, 2012, as part of the school’s Dr. Seuss Day “Seuss-a-bration.”
From 9 a.m.-noon tomorrow, the students, including Armando Soto, Kaelise Saraficio and Ariel Duarte, will read to the children at the school, 1795 W. Drexel Road. Dr. Seuss Day celebrates the late children’s book author Theodor Seuss Geisel’s birthday and is part of the National Education Association’s 12th annual Read Across America.
Desert Vista Campus is at 5901 S. Calle Santa Cruz. It enrolls approximately 5,500 students each semester.
