March 5, 2012

Tucson, AZ – Representatives of the Disney College Program will be at Pima Community College to provide information on paid internship programs at the Disneyland Resort in California and the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

The presentation begins at 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 7 at PCC’s Downtown Campus Amethyst Room, 1255 N. Stone Ave.

In Fall 2011, 25 PCC students were accepted into the Disney College Program.

“Students participating in internship programs learn how to present themselves in the world of work, gain career skills and boost their confidence, “said Michele Betzen, PCC’s internship program manager.  “They also help students clarify possible career paths and provide a chance to network for future employment.”

All majors are accepted into the Disney College program.  Interns who complete the program receive world-class training and experience and are competitive for careers in hotel and restaurant management, retail management and other fields.
